Answer (4)

P = 2( L + W ) -divide both sides by 2 P/2 = L + W -subtract L from both sides P/2 - L = W or (P - L) / 2 = W

Hello,
We know that if we make the same operation on both sides, we don't affect the equation:
For example: 2 = 2 2 + 2 = 2 + 2 4 = 4
Do you see? we add 2 on both sides and we don't affect the equality
We can do the same with the multiplication, for example
4=4 (i'll multiply both sides by 1/2) 4 ∗ 2 1  = 4 ∗ 2 1  2 = 2
Now, we do exactly the same in your excercise:
P = 2 ( L + W ) [ m u lt i pl y b y 1/2 ] P ∗ 2 1  = 2 ( L + W ) ∗ 2 1  2 P  = L + W [ S u b t r a c t L ] 2 P  − L = L + W − L 2 P  − L = L − L + W 2 P  − L = W W = 2 P  − L

To find the width w of a rectangle given the perimeter P and length L , use the formula w = 2 P  − L . This isolates width through basic algebraic manipulations of the perimeter formula. For example, if P = 20 and L = 6 , then w = 4 .

Jawaban:150 kmrnPenjelasan dengan langkah-langkah:Waktu perjalanan= 9.45 - 6.15 - 1 jam= 3.30 - 1 jam= 3,5 - 1 jam= 2,5 jamJarak= Kecepatan × Waktu= 60 km/jam × 2,5 jam= 150 km[tex]\boxed{ \red{ \boxed{\pink{\mathcal{M \frak{ ilana} \purple{ \tt01}}}}}} [/tex]
